The runway is 2,850m or 9,350ft. The runway is designed with partial parallel taxi way with mid runway turning path.

The runway will be able to accommodate several different types of aircraft including large international jets and cargo planes.

Yes, the airport will be equipped with ten (10) devices allowing passengers to do self-check-in and pay with credit or debit cards.

The airport is estimated to be completed in 2027.

The site was chosen after a careful review of twelve (12) proposed sites. The Wesley area was chosen on a rigid technical assessment on several scenarios including obstructions, terrain and wind. All of which satisfies unconditional ICAO standards and best practices.

Yes, the airport will be owned by the Government of Dominica.

It’s difficult to put a figure due to careful RFP communications management. We are trying not to prejudice the process with potential cross communication on price/cost.
